PURPOSE: An Internet auction system and a method for providing a service of an Internet suction system are provided to activate an auction in an auction site. CONSTITUTION: A client may be connected to an Internet server(4) using an Internet terminal(2). An Internet auction site(6) provides an Internet auction service. The Internet auction service is loaded to an Internet server(4) and connects a buyer to a seller for an auction through the Internet. If the seller loads a commodity list to be sold in an auction list of the Internet auction site(6), the buyer designates a commodity to be bought out of the commodity list and inputs a bidding price. A mileage point offering system for offering a predetermined mileage point or cyber money to a buyer who written a bidding price is provided in the Internet server(4). Thus, if the buyer writes a bidding price, the Internet server(4) may offer a predetermined mileage point or cyber money to a buyer who written a bidding price using the mileage point offering system.
