PURPOSE: An apparatus for tracking synchronization of receiving data in a mobile communication base station system is provided to perform rapidly a synchronization tracking operation by providing a PN(Pseudo Noise) code and a channel estimation value to a demodulation module. CONSTITUTION: A PN code generator(10) generate a PN code for synchronization tracking. A receiving data input portion(20) receives data from a plurality of antennas. A synchronization tracking portion tracks the synchronization of the received data by using the PN code and outputs a PN code offset value and a channel estimation value. A demodulation module(40) demodulates a channel by using the PN code offset value and the channel estimation value. The synchronization tracking portion is an ATM(Acquisition and Tracking Module) including a code buffer(31) and a data buffer(32). In the ATM, a multiplier(33) correlates the received data A plurality of adders(34) add the correlated results. An accumulator(35) adds the added result to stored data. The first FIFO(36) outputs an offset value. An output control portion(37) outputs an output of the accumulator(35) as the channel estimation value. The second FIFO(38) outputs the channel estimation value to the demodulation module(40). An output timing control portion(39) provides an output timing control signal to each block.
