PURPOSE: A using method of high pressure liquid nitrogen for cooling reactors is provided to minimize flashing as well as to supply liquid cryogen directly into a reaction vessel at a high pressure to cool exothermic reaction to the optimum. CONSTITUTION: A method of delivering liquid cryogen into a reaction vessel(75) to cool exothermic reaction within the vessel where in the liquid cryogen can be supplied directly into the reaction vessel at the highest pressure of about 3000psi is provided. The liquid cryogen may come directly from a high pressure liquid cryogen storage tank without any pressure regulators or control valves between the reaction vessel and the storage tank. Thereby, flashing is reduced and the need for sub-cooling the liquid cryogen is eliminated.
