PURPOSE: A shock absorber mounting structure prevents damage of a bush connecting part due to conical distortion and enhances car stability. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorber(50) is mounted between the mount(20) of a semi trailing arm and a car body. The bush connecting part(70, 80) of the shock absorber is mounted to the mount(20), the shaft direction(d) of which is to be equal with the extension direction(c) of a female bush(90) in the mount(20). The mounting angle between the mount(20) and the shock absorber(50) is a right angle. Therefore, the shock absorber mounting structure minimizes angular displacement of a conical direction and a moment, prevents damage of the bush connecting part of the shock absorber and absorbs external force acting on the shock absorber.
