PURPOSE: A method for providing and managing an advertisement service on the Internet and a system for providing and managing an advertisement service on the Internet are provided to offer a target advertisement to a user being connected to a specific web site and offer user's log-on file information to an advertiser. CONSTITUTION: An Internet user connects to a specific web site using a user computer(S10). The Internet user is identified for a membership(S20). If the Internet user is a member of the specific web site, an advertisement adapted to the user's registered information is transmitted(S30). If the Internet user is a member of the specific web site, an advertisement is transmitted based on previous web site connection information(S40). If the Internet user moves to other web site and discontinues the Internet search, log-on file information recorded in the specific web site is collected(S50). The transmitted advertisement is stored in a database based on the information being recorded in the collected log-on file(S60). An analysis report with respect to the advertisement stored in a database is prepared(S70). The prepared report is transmitted to an advertiser(S80).
