PURPOSE: A light control device is provided to improve the musical atmosphere by adding the visual atmosphere to music with controlling the operation about the appropriate light according to the detected frequency and level. CONSTITUTION: The light control device includes a light switch(SW), a frequency/level detecting portion(21), a program memory(24), a light controlling portion(22), a light driving portion(25) and a light portion(26). The light switch(SW) selects the operation. The frequency/level detecting portion(21) is operated when the light is turned on and detects the frequency and the level of the audio signal. The program memory(24) stores the light control program. The light controlling portion(22) controls the light according to the frequency detecting signal and the level detecting signal. The light driving portion(25) drives the appropriate light according to the control of the light driving portion(25). The light portion(26) includes many lights which are operated according to driving of the light driving portion(25).
