PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder device with liquid bearing which makes possible to prevent flowing out of excessive lubricant to the outside through a gap in the vicinity of the bearing prepared for discharge of air and to perform normal recording/reproduction operation, even under the conditions with outside pressure being decompressed or outside temperature being reduced. SOLUTION: The gap connected to the open-air is formed by D-shape cutaway made on outer periphery of a sleeve 13 and an inner diameter surface of rotary cylinder 14 firmly fitted on the outer diameter surface of the sleeve 13.
