PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bay window capable of preventing rising of an indoor side part of a bottom board without cutting out a throating member. SOLUTION: This bay window constituted in such a way that a bottom board support metal fitting 22 is installed in the indoor side part of a vertical part 33 of the throating member 20, and a receiving metal fitting 44 is installed on an indoor side under surface of the bottom board 23 to engage and connect this receiving metal fitting 44 and the bottom board support metal fitting 22, can prevent the raising of the indoor side part of the bottom board 23 without cutting out the throating member 20.
