PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a loading load for the shutter opening operation of a cartridge. SOLUTION: This disk device 100 is provided with a disk conveying part 2 for conveying a cartridge 4 from an unloaded state to a loaded state, and a shutter opening/closing part 12 for opening a shutter 5 provided in the cartridge in a sliding direction S orthogonal to a cartridge conveying direction T. The tip surface of the conveying direction of the cartridge has a first tip surface F1 parallel to the conveying direction, and a second tip surface F2 parallel to the sliding direction, and the shutter is opened by applying the pressing force of the sliding direction to the first tip surface from the shutter opening/closing part. The shutter opening/closing part is brought into contact with the first tip surface during the shutter opening operation, but not with the second tip surface.
