PURPOSE: An electronic payment process program and card payment process operation method is provided to prevent a leakage of personal data included in a card such as an IC card, a magnetic card, a debit card and a traffic card by modifying the conventional card payment process. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a user accessing an electronic commerce service site and selecting a wanted commodity, the user selecting a card payment method as a payment tool, the service site driving a payment process program embedded in a user terminal, the payment process program reading purchase related data from the electronic commerce site and recognizing the card data captured by the card reader, and transmitting the purchase and the card data to a card company over the network, the card company checking the transmitted data and transmitting the check result to the electronic commerce service site and the user.
