PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CATV system that can be simply extended in a very short time, decrease the stop time of a signal in the case of extension and uniformize the levels of output of output signals at all output terminals independently of the number of extended distributors. SOLUTION: A branching filter 30 of a unit design that outputs a signal received at an input side small terminal 31 to an output side small terminal 33 at a level of n-1/n and distributes the signal to a branching side small terminal 32 at a level of 1/n is removably provided to a ground wave storage hole or a CATV storage hole. The branching filter 30 supplies the signal to a ground wave amplification terminal 3 of a distributor or to a CATV extension terminal 5 at a level of n-1/n of the input signal. Moreover, extension circuits 82, 84 to pass the signal through the branching filter 30 are provided with a ground wave side button 22 or a CATV side button 23 to be switched from single circuits 81, 83.
