摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate for the gain deviation of a fixed optical gain equalizer which is caused by change of environmental temperature, and to make the absolute output level of the overall amplifier constant. SOLUTION: A Fabry-Perot etalon 11, having an interval of transmission peak wavelength which is greater than the transmission band, a mirror-forming part 1 which is formed of a material which transmits light and in which two mirrors of the Fabry-Perot etalon face each other in parallel, and stretching parts 3, which have coefficient of linear expansion larger than that of the material in the mirror forming part and are embedded in the recesses arranged at the mirror-forming part, in the vicinity of a part on which the Fabry-Perot etalon is positioned are installed in a variable optical gain equalizer for compensating for the deviation in the relative output level of optical signal to the wavelength of an optical signal in the transmission band.
