发明名称 PRODUCTION JIG FOR PERPENDICULAR MAGNETIC RECORDING DISK
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production jig for a perpendicular magnetic recording disk which can orient the easily-magnetized axis of a magnetic layer in the radial direction well by forming a magnetic field with the stable fixed strength in the disk radial direction. SOLUTION: A ring shape magnet 12 is attached by the stoppers 20 and 30 in a center hole, and the ring shape magnet 14 is attached by the stoppers 40 and 50 along the outer periphery edge at the disk substrate 10. The jig is set on a pallet 60 and thrown in a film forming device, and the film forming is performed where the magnetic field is applied to the disk radial direction. The magnetic field strength at this time orients well the easily-magnetized axis of a hard magnetic pinning layer in the radial direction, and is set to the size which adversely affects neither a soft magnetic substrate nor a perpendicular recording layer. The easily-magnetized axis of the hard magnetic pinning layer, thereby, orients well in the radial direction.
