PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamometer apparatus capable of evaluating the control system of an antilock brake for aircraft and high-speed vehicles in high speed ranges in excess of 500 km/hr, and conducting a landing simulation test for control of aircraft. SOLUTION: A detecting and calculating means for the coefficient of friction between a drum and a tire is prepared based on the idea of calculating the coefficient of friction between the drum and tire from the peripheral velocity of the drum, the pressure load of the tire and a predetermined calculating means. To simulate the required coefficient of friction, the peripheral velocity of the drum and the pressure load of the tire can be controlled to the required values, and the coefficient of friction and lift can be measured through the measurement of the peripheral velocity of the drum and the pressure load of the tire.
