PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical element, especially a primary battery and secondary battery and its manufacturing method wherein the element can be actuated at a high capacity and a high current, that has a long life and superior reliability, and that can be manufactured inexpensively by using a heat polymerizable composition for high polymer solid electrolyte, which is superior in impregnation properties, curing properties and preservation stability, and provide the electrochemical element, especially an electric double layer capacitor and its manufacturing method wherein the element has a high output voltage, a large output current, a good workability, a long life and a superior reliability, and that can be manufactured inexpensively by using the heat polymerizable composition for high polymer solid electrolyte, which is superior in impregnation properties, curing properties and preservation stability. SOLUTION: By selecting kind and/or composition about materials such as solvent in the heat polymerizable composition, heat polymerizable compounds, electrolyte salt or the like, and by controlling the viscosity, the impregnation property is made to improve. Further, by using polymerization inhibitors of high polymerization inhibition, the storage stability is improved, and in addition, by selecting specific heat polymerization initiator and heat polymerizable compounds, curing properties are improved. By letting these thermosetting compounds impregnate and cure promptly in an element case, the primary battery, secondary battery and electric double layer capacitor having properties for the purposes can be easily obtained. |
