PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pivot bearing which is load resistant, has a high degree of precision, has a low parts count and no outgassing, and is low in production cost. SOLUTION: A thickness of an outer ring 5 is made substantially equivalent to the sum of the thickness of an outer ring and that of a sleeve of a conventional pivot bearing and is made sleeveless. For all other parts of the pivot bearing 1 and 2 except the outer ring 5, the standardized articles are utilized. |
