PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing equipped with two pieces type retainer in which each retainer can be held at proper position. SOLUTION: The roller bearing comprises comb-like retainers 8 and 9 which holds rollers 5 and 6 freely rollable mutually in each row of rollers wherein the comb-like retainers 8 and 9 are made independent individually for each row of roller and each retainer of 8 and 9 is so arranged that each circular ring 8a or 9a thereof faces back to back with each other for the circular rings 8a and 9a of the adjacent retainers 8 and 9 to be able to contact each other. With the retainers 8 and 9 being formed such that each center of gravity of the retainer of 8 and 9 is positioned inner side axially than a retainer guide area which guides a periphery of the retainer 8 or 9, the retainers can be rested against each other even when the retainer by itself impinges upon the retainer guide area by shifting its position. |
