RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, PACKET TRANSFER UNIT, RADIO TERMINAL AND PACKET TRANSFER METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, where a radio mobile terminal of a hybrid system with a high-speed radio interface available for only reception can utilize high-speed downlink transfer by means of the high-steed radio interface. SOLUTION: A radio mobile terminal 300 transmits a message, including a multi-cast address assignment request from a 2nd radio interface 302 via a network 20, a foreign agent 100 receiving the message via a home agent 400 and a backbone network 701 assigns the multi-cast address not in use at present in a radio area 801 and allows a 1st radio base station 200 for broadcasting the address for the information on it to the radio mobile terminal 300, and the radio mobile terminal 300 receiving it sets a 1st radio interface for receiving a link layer frame addressed to a link layer multi-cast address resolved from the informed address.
