PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To leave a taking-out history of a disk in a disk cartridge when used in a single disk and to release no taking-out history when a user does not actively perform the handling of the disk such as the displacement of the disk between the disk cartridges. SOLUTION: This disk cartridge is arranged with a restraining means for restraining an insert/eject port switching member which switches the disk insert/ eject port and a restraint release preventing means which prevents the restraining means from releasing the restraint.
