<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a portable machine from being locked up as it is left by failure or because of a run down battery. SOLUTION: When a door is opened, a starting signal is retransmitted through an external detection antenna by a smart entry ECU (S1, S2), and if a response signal from an electronic card key is received (S3: YES), the door is held unlocked by control of the smart entry ECU (S4), while if the response signal from the electronic card key is not received (S3: NO), an alarm buzzer is driven to give an alarm to inform generation of the electronic card key being left without being carried, being left outside a transmission area of the external detection antenna, or having built-in battery consumed to less than its action voltage (S5).</p> |
