PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing valve device capable of efficiently supplying a liquid or slurry material or discharging a treated material. SOLUTION: The opening/closing valve device 1 has a first tubular member 10 of straight form, having an opening at the tip, a second tubular member 12 communicating with the side of the first tubular member, a valve element 14 of long drum form movable along the first tubular member within the tube of the first tubular member, and a moving device 16, installed on the base end side of the first tubular member so that the tip 14a of the valve element on the opening side of the first tubular member is in the position sealing the opening and in the position of the base end side than the connection part C of the first tubular member and the second tubular member. The outer circumferential surface of the valve element has the dimension slightly smaller than the inner circumferential surface of the first tubular member.
