PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven blower preventing noise by preventing vibration of a fan cover attached to an electric motor. SOLUTION: This motor-driven blower comprises: a main case 10 made of synthetic resin; a disc-like auxiliary case 20 made from a metallic plate and attached to the main case 10; the electric motor 2 consisting of a stator 30 and a rotor 40 disposed in these cases; and a fan 3 attached to the electric motor 2. The outer periphery of the end face of a flange 15 of the main case 10 is formed with an annular wall 150 protruding from this end face, and the outer peripheral edge of the auxiliary case 20 is engaged with an inner peripheral wall surface 151 of the annular wall 150 for attachment to the main case 10, so that the amount of expansion and contraction of the main case 10 due to moisture absorption and dryness is reduced, and the noise caused by the vibration of the fan cover 70 is prevented.
