PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an indoor unit and an air conditioner in which the value of commodity is enhanced furthermore by providing an air cleaning function for improving the quality of indoor air furthermore. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a fan 14 for sucking indoor air from an air inlet 12b and delivering it from an air outlet 12c, an indoor heat exchanger 13 for exchanging heat between the indoor air and refrigerant supplied from an outdoor unit, a ventilator comprising a dedicated fan 18 for sucking the indoor air and discharging it outdoors, a photocatalytic filter and an air cleaning filter interposed between the air inlet 12b and the indoor heat exchanger 13, and an indoor unit control section 15 comprising various electric circuit elements. |
