PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for a small sized light-source 3 comprising a high pressure-discharge lamp 1 and a reflector 2 as intended not to be susceptible to have the lamp 1 and the reflector 2 broken or the like. SOLUTION: The reflector 2 is constituted by using the material of the thermal expansion coefficient not more than 15×10-7/ deg.C on the portion being in touch with the light emitting part 100 of the lamp 1.
