PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire that can illuminate farther than conventional ones. SOLUTION: In a luminaire consisting of a transparent cylindrical housing 5, a light shielding sheet 6 formed inside the housing with one opening in a cross-section view to cut off the leakage of the light incident to the housing, a prism film 7 which is arranged inside the light shielding sheet along almost all the inner surface of the housing to guide the light incident to the housing in the axial direction, and a reflection sheet 8 fixed inside the prism film opposite to the opening of the light shielding sheet to reflect and diffuse the light guided in the axial, direction this luminaire has, as the feature of this invention, a saw-tooth surface to refract the outgoing light to reduce the width of the diffused light, at a part of the outer surface of the housing, corresponding to the opening of the light shielding sheet. |
