PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an economically manufacturable movable projection for mounting. SOLUTION: The projection 10 for mounting used on various variable displacement swash plate type compressor is movably placed on an outer surface of a compressor housing 26. Since the projection 10 for mounting realizes mounting of a single swash plate type compressor to various vehicle, it is unnecessary to manufacture various molding for forging respective compressor housings 26 corresponding to various vehicles where the swash plate type compressor is assembled.
