PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a hood function lowers when handstand setting is enabled by cutting the convex portion originally extending long of a lens hood. SOLUTION: In the lens hood 10 of a cylindrical shape attached at the tip in the optical axis direction of a lens barrel 1, when the hood has a convex portion 11 formed in the shape of curved line of which the shape in the peripheral direction of a tip part becomes convex forward, a bending line 11c for bending the convex portion perpendicularly at least to the side covering the front surface of the lens barrel is formed. The handstand setting of the lens barrel is enabled by using the bending edge of the convex portion bent along the bending line as the lower end.
