PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control unit that can absorb a surge pressure generated by the tension of a cylinder 3 to prevent the destruction of the cylinder 3 when the cylinder is suddenly stopped, and then can quickly recover the swing-back phenomenon of an arm A. SOLUTION: This unit is provided with a pressure absorbing mechanism 28 between a pilot check valve 7 and the pressure chamber 3a, of hold pressure- acting side of the cylinder 3. The pressure absorbing mechanism 28 absorbs the surge pressure generating in the pressure chamber 3a.
