PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laying structure of a floor decorative member used on a veranda and a balcony of a house and capable of facilitating construction without using a common joist, providing satisfactory water drain property and design property, preventing a person from sinking in due to a weight of a human body when he walks thereon to provide a satisfactory sense of walking, eliminating a possibility of water leakage when he walks thereon, and fixing the floor decorative member on a floor bed face firmly so as to prevent it from moving. SOLUTION: In this laying structure of the floor decorative member in which the floor decorative members made of long platelike bodies are arranged and laid in parallel in the direction of width on a floor bed, a laying face of the floor bed is formed of a member like bent plate having a groove part, an engaging projecting part is provided and protrudes downward on a rear surface of the floor decorative member, and the engaging projecting part is locked in a side wall of the groove part of the member like bent plate.
