PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction nozzle and a suction device for reducing the burden of a worker when mud is sucked. SOLUTION: When the opening part 10 of a nozzle cover 4 is completely thrust into mud, the mud passing the opening part of the nozzle cover 4 is sucked from the suction opening 3 of a nozzle body to a vacuum car, and the opening part 10 if the nozzle cover 4 is covered with mud. The flow of the air (two-dot chain line) through a venting opening does not disappear by the suction force of the vacuum car. Thus, in a state that the opening part 10 of the nozzle cover 4 is contacted on the surface of the mud, the mud is sucked into the vacuum car from the suction opening 3 of the nozzle body 2 together with the air of the flow of the air through the venting opening (two-dot chain line).
