PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a user and to generate display data and sound data without being affected by use environment and the movement of an authenticator. SOLUTION: Portable electronic authentication devices (10, 20, 30) are equipped with portable bodies (11, 21, 31) equipped with interface parts (12, 22, 32) which enable electric connections with external interfaces and only persons who carry them are able to reproduce sound and identify themselves as the users without affecting use environment. The bodies (11, 21, 31) contain data input/output parts (12, 22, 23) which can send and receive at least display data and sound data, memories (15, 26, 36) stored with plural kinds of electronic certificates, etc., for automating the troublesome management of electronic certificates, and control parts (14, 24, 34) which automatically select the best electronic certificate for authentication from the memories (15, 26, 36) and convert the display data into sound data. |
