PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic pressure bearing motor of simple composition to enable to reduce the opportunities to receive a number of the scars and scuffing on a surface of a shaft member and a bearing member while rotating. SOLUTION: In the dynamic pressure bearing motor, a magnetic shield means 27 comprising an insert member and a magnet collecting member like yoke member or the like is provided to shut off the leaking magnetic fluxϕfrom a fix side thrust magnet 25 to prevent the formation of useless attractive magnetic field within the dynamic bearing so that the foreign matters existing outside the dynamic pressure is not attracted toward the dynamic bearing.
