PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation controller for an air conditioner for improving warm adopting properties, when heating is started by realizing rapid starting of warming at a heating operation starting time set by a timer. SOLUTION: A frost detecting means for detecting the frosted state of an outdoor side heat exchanger and a timer setting means are provided. A defrost detection heating operation for deciding defrost operation is conducted for a prescribed time before a predetermined time from the heating operation starting time, set by the timer setting means. Thereafter, the presence or the absence of the frost of the exchanger is detected by the front detecting means. If the frost time is detected, defrost operation is conducted, and then a heating previous operation is conducted until time is up. After time is up, the heating operation is started. |
