PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing lot indicating method for a transmission belt capable of preventing confusion of commodity management and identifying the year and week of manufacture over a long period of time. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing lot indicating method in which an Arabic numeral of one figure for the final numeral of the manufacturing year and Arabic numerals of two figures for the week of the manufacturing year are put on the belt body, three Arabic numerals indicating the manufacturing year and week are formed by selecting one or two kinds between an erect letter and an inclined letter, and many combinations are made to identify the manufacturing year and week over a long period of time.
