PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a rate of fuel consumption is deteriorated because energy conversion efficiency of shape memory alloy is low, in a fuel injection valve using the shape memory alloy as an actuator. SOLUTION: In this fuel injection valve storing a shape memory alloy material 6 displaced by impression of voltage and a valve element 2 energizing a nozzle hole 23 in a closing direction by a spring 3 at the inside of a body 1, displacing the valve element 2 in direct or indirect response to displacement of the shape memory alloy material 6 and injecting fuel, the inside of the body 1 is divided into a cooling chamber 27 storing the shape memory alloy material 6 across a piston 4 sliding by displacement of the shape memory alloy 6 and a fuel chamber 10 storing the valve element 2, the cooling chamber 27 and the fuel chamber 10 are connected via a communicating passage 11 and the cooling chamber 27 is provided with an entrance 11a for introducing fuel. |
