PURPOSE: A medical support system using the Internet and a method for the same are provided to allow a user to use and inquire medical data. CONSTITUTION: A user computer(100) is connected with a medical support server(200) by Internet(500). The medical support server(200) has the first database(210) for storing a user's medical examination and treatment data, the second database(220) for storing medical information contents, the third database(230) for storing drug information, health food information, and heath sport information, and a medical support engine(240). The medical support engine(240) is a home page for connecting the medical support server(200) with the user computer(100). The medical support engine(240) is composed of a gate page(241) for providing a menu for a medical support service and a service page(242) for providing the medical support service.
