PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of Kana/Kanji conversion in the case of preparing a reply document corresponding to a received electronic mail (e-mail). SOLUTION: The information processor is provided with an input part for inputting a character string, a Kana/Kanji conversion part for converting an inputted character string into a Kana/Kanji mixed character string by referring to a Kana/Kanji conversion dictionary, a communication part for transmitting/receiving an e-mail through a communication line, and a display part for displaying the inputted character string or the document of the e-mail. The processor is also provided with a character string extraction part for extracting a character string from the received document of the e-mail, a syntax analysis part for analyzing the syntax of the extracted character string and dividing the character string into clauses, a word information extraction part for extracting the word information of each clause, and a learning word storage part for storing the extracted word information. In the case of preparing a reply document corresponding to a received document of an e-mail, the Kana/Kanji conversion part uses the learning word storage part prior to the Kana/Kanji conversion dictionary and converts an inputted character string into a Kana/Kanji mixed character string. |
