CONTROL METHOD OF CHARGE-DISCHARGE OF BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to eliminate a memory effect while maintaining the condition that a battery can be discharged. SOLUTION: The charge and discharge are carried out while controlling the charge and discharge range of battery. The range is set either as a usual battery range set or as a refresh set range wherein the battery which has been reduced of its substantial capacity due to a memory effect is charged and discharged. The refresh set range is set in the range to let the battery to deeply discharge than that of the usual set range. By detecting the generation of memory effect of battery, the charge and discharge is made while switching the operation of battery from the usual battery range set to the refresh set range where the generation of memory effect of battery has occurred.
