DC MOTOR AND ARMATURE STRUCTURE OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC motor which can further realize reduction in size and weight. SOLUTION: A DC motor is composed of a stator 1, a rotor 2 loaded to the stator 1 to freely rotate and a cylindrical cover 3 for hermetically accommodating the rotor 2. The stator 1 includes four permanent magnets 12 which are circularly allocated and are magnetized in the axial direction. The rotor 2 is provided with an armature 33 which is eccentrically fixed to a circumferential part of the of a rotating shaft 21. The armature 22 is composed of a coil 24 wound in the same size as the magnetic pole surface of the permanent magnet 12d and an iron core 25 erected and allocated in the axial direction of the coil at the position deviated to the rear end 24b side from the center thereof. A current is supplied to the coil 24 with a brush 14 allocated with the space phase angle of 90 degrees for the commutator 23 which is divided into four sections in the rotating direction.
