PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preserving a retrieval condition or the like used when an information retriever retrieves registration information as retrieval history information and letting an information registration person retrieve the retrieval history information, analyze the information needs of the information retriever, provide information matched with the needs and directly access the information retriever. SOLUTION: An information retrieval server 3 is provided with a retrieval history preservation device 8, an information retrieval part 5 for retrieving the registration information pertinent to the retrieval condition specified from a terminal 2 from the registration information preservation device 6 and preserving the retrieval history in the retrieval history preservation device 8 and a retrieval history retrieval part 7 for retrieving the retrieval history pertinent to the retrieval condition specified from the terminal 1 from the retrieval history preservation device 8 and preserving the retrieval history in the retrieval history preservation device 8.
