PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-metering device for metering the amount of use (third, specific weight) of a fiber accurately and automatically. SOLUTION: The fiber-metering device consists of a first accommodation part 3 for supplying an accommodated fiber via a fist supply mechanism 5, a second accommodation part 22 for accommodating the fiber being supplied from the first accommodation part 3 and supplying the accommodated fiber via a second supply mechanism 24, a load cell 35 for detecting that the fiber being supplied to second accommodation part 22 reaches a second specific weight, a third accommodation part 41 for accommodating the fiber being supplied from the second accommodation part 22, and a load cell 46 for detecting that the fiber being supplied to the third accommodation part 41 reaches a third specific weight. A first supply mechanism 5 performs supply via the fiber until a load cell 13 detects the second specific weight, and a second supply mechanism 24 performs supply via the fiber until the load cell 46 detects the third specific weight.
