PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a device having an air filter and a diaphragm carburetor 1 allowing simple manufacturing and assembling a compensating part in the diaphragm carburetor 1, taking into consideration of a pollution level of the air filter placed in front of the diaphragm carburetor 1. SOLUTION: A compensating passage 11 is guided to a connecting pipe 8 along one block 10 in a casing 21. An opening part 15 of the compensating passage 11 defines a first surface 17, an opening part 16 of the connecting pipe 8 defines a second surface 18, these are separated surfaces from each other and advantageously crossing with each other.
