<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device for a smoke filter that is for use in flowing gas including smoke particles; a method of monitoring the operability of an exhaust gas filter disposed in an exhaust gas conduit, whereby at least part of an exhaust gas flow is passed through at least one molded member with opening effectiveness at least in the flow direction and the temperature of the molded member is measured with at least one temperature probe; and a method of using the measuring device; which are all devised for reliable and direct monitoring of the operability of the smoke filter. SOLUTION: At least one smoke sensor is allocated to a smoke filter. The smoke sensor has at least one molded member with porosity at least in the direction of a flow, at least one electric heating member, and at least one temperature probe.</p> |
