PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive plug-in type relay with a good operability and less troube in assembling. SOLUTION: The plug-in type relay comprises a base relay 12 having a plurality of terminals 16, a plug 14 being mounted to the base relay 12 and having a plurality of plug pins 18 in an arrangement different from that of the plurality of terminals 16, and a plurality of lead wires 20 for connecting the plurality of terminals 16 to corresponding plug pins 18. An electric insulating guide member 22 is disposed between the plurality of terminals 16 and the plurality of plug pins 18 and has a plurality of paths for guiding the plurality of lead wires 20 individually. The lead wires 20 are inserted into holes of the guide member 22 to position them, so that the assembling work can be efficiently performed.
