PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image deterioration due to capacity reduction while making it easy to handle an image and reducing storage capacity. SOLUTION: This invention has a compressing means which compresses inputted image, a generating means which generates flag data showing features of an image corresponding to the image data from the image data, a data generating means which generates compressed flag data by compressing the flag data, an image data storage means which stores the compressed image data, a flag storage means which stores the compressed flag data, and an output means which obtains and unfreezes the compressed image data and flag data from the image data storage means and flag data storage means and then outputs to a printer part the unfrozen flag data and the image data obtained by applying color correction determined adaptively to the compressibility of the compression to the unfrozen data. |
