PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a totally aromatic polyamide short fiber excellent in converging property and anti-electrostatic property, having a low stickiness to show less winding to a roller, etc., and generation of a scum, and exhibiting a good spinning property. SOLUTION: This totally aromatic polyamide short fiber is obtained by imparting an alkali metal salt of a partial phosphoric acid ester of a 14-16C alcohol and an anti-electrostatic agent of a nitrogen-containing cationic type and/or nitrogen-containing nonionic type to its fiber surface in preferably (50:50)-(90:10) their weight ratio and by 0.1-1.0 wt.% total attached amount. |
