<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification melting furnace and method that allows waste to be subjected to gasification for melting, and collect fuel gas, molten slag, molten metal, or heavy metal with a low boiling point. SOLUTION: In the gasification melting furnace and the gasification melting method using the gasification melting furnace, a waste-loading port 11-1 for loading waste, and a gas discharge port 3-1 for discharging gas to be generated are provided at an upper part, a discharge port 9 for discharging the molten slag and molten metal is provided at a lower part, ports 5-1 to 5-3 being divided into a plurality of stages (normally, three stages) are provided in a height direction that can independently blow a burning-supporting gas and auxiliary fuel on a furnace wall. In addition, a means 17 for measuring the level of the loaded waste, means 20 and 21 for measuring temperature in the furnace, and an upward-blowing lance 24, are provided.</p> |
