<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a clutter in the periphery of a target to enhance a S/N ratio so as to facilitate tracking, by utilizing information of a clutter area in the periphery of the tracking target to select a clutter restraining method. SOLUTION: When the existence of the clutter is determined in the periphery of the tracking target (step S-1), a clutter testing beam is emitted toward an area covered by a radar (step S-2), and a condition of the clutter in the periphery of the target is made clear by reflection of the clutter testing beam (step S-4), in tracking processing for the target by a search beam.</p> |
