PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a graphic by designating apex positions by an operator without directly operating the control point of a Bezier curve while reducing problems even when the line of a source handwriting picture is interrupted in the middle in a system for producing animation on a computer while using the source picture. SOLUTION: The graphic is prepared by automatically generating the Bezier curve by fetching plural source pictures drawn on paper into the computer and next designating only apexes concerning the first source picture. At such a time, an optimal route connecting the apex set before and the block of a present cursor position is found. This route is approximated by a cublic equation, the coefficient of each term in this equation is compared with the coefficient of the Bezier curve and the Bezier curve is defined. Concerning the source pictures after second one, the apexes of the graphic prepared before are moved and dragged closely to the lines of the source pictures so that the graphic is corrected by calculating the control point of the Bezier curve again. |
