PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time necessary for processing for transferring performance data stored in an external storage means to an internal storage means from the external storage means and storing therein, and transferring the performance data stored in the internal storage means to the external storage means from the internal storage means and storing therein, by performing their processing, at high speed. SOLUTION: This electronic instrument comprises an internal storage means capable of storing performance data stored in an external storage means, a selection means for selecting the performance data stored in the external storage means, a comparison means for comparing the performance data selected by the selection means with the performance data stored in the internal storage means, and a control means for controlling not to transfer the performance data selected by the selection means to the internal storage means when the comparison result of the comparison means represents that performance data selected by the selection means are the same as those stored in the internal storage means. |
